Change Management – Change management is the discipline that guides how we prepare, equip and support individuals to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational success and outcomes. 

 

Organizational Design – The Organizational Design Process allows any USAF organization e.g., squadron, flight, detachment to “Stand-Up” within a 3-month period from a tasking directive.  This standardized process is designed so any Air Force organization located globally can accomplish its mission within the allotted time range.  The Organizational Design process includes templates, tools, and procedures to assist the organization in maximizing efficiency and build in quality, while promoting respect for people and continuous improvement.

Organization Maturity Model (OMM) Assessment – A scalable web-based assessment tool designed for use organizations striving for operational excellence.  The maturity continuum ranges from Informal to Optimized by assessing four domains: Standardized Processes, Data Driven Decision-Making, Resource Management, and Organizational Design.

Performance Management (PM) – A process of ensuring a set of activities and outputs meets an organization’s goals in an effective and efficient manner. 

 

Practical Problem Solving Method (PPSM) – Formerly known as the AF 8-Step Problem Solving Model, PPSM is a standardized approach to properly define a problem, its root cause(s), countermeasures, and countermeasure implementation.  The structure provides a common framework and language, which easily translates into common understanding.

 

Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) – Several widely accepted methodologies, including application of lean tools, six-sigma analysis, theory of constraints analysis, and business process reengineering analysis within a construct of the USAF Practical Problem Solving Method.  Additionally, it enables the elimination of waste while maximizing customer value.

 

Process Modeling & Simulation – Provides the ability to conduct experiments in a modeling environment in a significantly reduced time frame, enabling greater confidence in the solution via the use of data analytics, and achieve improved results quicker. Completely non-disruptive to the work-center under study, simulation allows “what-if” and “to-be” scenarios to test the impacts of decisions.

 

Strategic Planning & Execution – An organizational management activity used to set priorities, focus organizational energy and resources, strengthen operations, ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended outcomes, results, and assess and adjust the organization's direction in response to a changing environment.
