Chief Master Sergeant Tara E. Farr is the Senior Enlisted Leader of the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. Chief Farr serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the group equivalent Air Force Field Operating Agency guiding 368 members within its headquarters and eight geographically separated operating locations around the continental United States which provides Manpower Analysis’ efforts to 442,836 total Manpower Authorizations by determining manpower requirements, developing programming factors, conducting Air Force continuous process improvement engagements, and special studies serving 1,478 wing-level and below commanders and 1,287 manpower officers, enlisted and civilian personnel world-wide primary customers.

Chief Farr entered the Air Force in 1998 as an Airborne Surveillance Technician on board the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS). Her first duty station was Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, where she was assigned to the 965th Airborne Air Control Squadron. In 2011, she cross-trained into the Manpower career field. Her background includes various positions to include Flight Chief, Section Chief of Combat Plans, Superintendent of Wing Protocol, Superintendent of Base Operating Support Requirements Section, Branch Chief of Requirements, Manpower Major Command Functional Manager, and Mission Support Group Senior Enlisted Leader. Her assignments include Oklahoma, Germany, Virginia, Hawaii, and Texas. Chief Farr deployed and flew missions in support of Operations Allied Force, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom.
