Lieutenant Colonel RAYMOND S. WHISENHUNT

Lt Col Whisenhunt is the Deputy Commander, Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. He is responsible for providing tools to Air Force leaders at all levels to identify essential manpower required to accomplish the Air Force mission effectively and efficiently. He supports the Commander in his execution of operational control of seven geographically separated offices and directs analytical efforts to determine manpower requirements, develop programming factors, support the execution of competitive sourcing initiatives, conduct Air Force continuous process improvement engagements, and perform special Headquarters U.S. Air Force studies.

Lt Col Whisenhunt enlisted in the Air Force in May 1997 from Papillion, Nebraska as a Computer Systems Programmer. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University, Bellevue, Neb and earned a commission through Officer Training School in January 2007. He has served on the Joint Staff and in multiple Major Commands and Numbered Air Forces, including two tours as the Chief of Protocol, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Lieutenant Colonel Whisenhunt has completed a number of staff-level assignments to include Executive Officer to four Numbered Air Force Commanders and commanded the 60th Force Support Squadron, Travis AFB, California.
Prior to his current position, Lt Col Whisenhunt was a Student at Air War College, Maxell AFB, Alabama.
